Disaster Response
WHY DISASTER RESPONSE
Disaster response refers to the actions taken by individuals, organizations, and governments to mitigate the impact of natural or human-made disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, or pandemics.
Effective disaster response requires a coordinated and well-planned approach that involves multiple stakeholders, including emergency responders, healthcare providers, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community members.
WHAT WE DO
The Happiness Of Life organization, with its welfare interventions focused on children and their families, responds to the call of humanity in times of such calamities under its Disaster Response programme through emergency relief programs.
The primary goal of disaster response is to save lives, minimize damage to property and infrastructure, and restore normalcy as quickly as possible. This can involve a range of activities, such as search and rescue operations, medical treatment, food and shelter distribution, debris removal, infrastructure repair, and psychological support.
